Each 10-minute match will challenge teams to optimize their ships’ setup under a strict point-based system, aiming to maximize their 50-point allowance effectively. Exceeding game frames will escalate to two, four, and eventually six times the normal speed to break any persisting ties, with a final disruptive intervention by Sarana-class feral drones if needed.

The victors of the Winter Classic can look forward to substantial rewards. The top team will earn five tickets to EVE Fanfest 2026 and a 10,000 Grace split among its members. Following closely are rewards for the second and third place, all contributing to a competitive atmosphere. Grace, the in-game temporary currency, converts to EVE Points at the end of each Cycle, potentially leading to further in-game advantages.
