In Brief:

  • Farming Season (official site) said 20,000 farms have been created in the game in roughly two weeks.
  • The team said those players have been planting, crafting, fighting in the Battle Arena and racing in the Arena Cup, its weekly paid competition.
  • The game runs on Robinhood Chain, and the team pinned an announcement on Oct. 19 saying its SEASON token is live there.

Farming Season said it passed 20,000 farms about two weeks after opening.

The team announced the number on X. “In just two weeks, 20,000 farms have been planting, crafting, fighting in the Battle Arena and racing in the Arena Cup,” the post said.

The team didn’t say how many of those farms are active each day or how many individual players are behind them. It also didn’t share any revenue or token figures alongside the count.

What the farms are doing

Farming Season is a pixel farming game. Players build a farm, plant crops, raise animals, join clans and fight monster waves in a battle arena.

Each player gets 100 free energy a day, and it resets at local midnight, according to the game’s player guide. Planting, harvesting and feeding cost two energy each. One life in the Battle Arena costs five.

The arena opens at Town Hall level one and is free to play. Enemies drop loot up to daily battle limits. Daily conditions change the fights, and the guide lists examples such as Archer raid, Blood moon and Rat King day.

The Arena Cup

The Arena Cup is the game’s weekly ranked mode. Entry costs $1, once a week, and is open to players at Town Hall level two and above.

Each run lasts 10 minutes, on the same clock for every entrant. Players can run Quick Battles as many times as they like. Their best run counts as their score, and the leaderboard ranks players by enemies defeated.

One weekly prize pool the team announced was $3,000 plus 150 whitelist spots from Raid Lords for NFT holders. It has also promoted a creator pool of $500 in SEASON every day.

Real-market buildings

Three buildings are tied to outside markets. The Mine produces gold and silver, the Oil Well pumps oil and the Farm Bank buys those goods at live prices from Chainlink price feeds on Robinhood Chain.

Players can withdraw daily earnings up to limits that rise with Town Hall level, according to the guide.

Clans and token

Clans get three quests each week, covering boss wins, farming tasks and real-world asset activity. Finishing them gives harvest bonuses of 20% for leaders, 12% for officers and 10% for members.

The team pinned a post on Oct. 19 saying SEASON is live on Robinhood Chain and telling buyers to always check the contract address before buying. It has also said 228,607,655 SEASON have been burned, which it puts at about 22.86% of supply. That figure comes from the team and wasn’t independently checked for this story.

The milestone post thanked “every farmer, clan and creator who made this happen” and ended with a teaser: “Next stop: ?”
