In Brief:

  • RaidLords said more than 4,800 players joined and fought more than 75,000 raids in the first hours after the strategy game went live on Robinhood Chain.
  • The team reported 15.7 million tokens burned and 10.5 million tokens withdrawn to players’ wallets over the same stretch.
  • The early figures give a first look at token flows in a play-to-earn game whose $RAID token is live on Robinhood Chain.

RaidLords burned 15.7 million tokens and sent 10.5 million to players’ wallets in its first hours live, the team said Tuesday in a post on X.

The game also reported more than 4,800 “lords” entering, more than 75,000 raids fought, more than 1,300 Champion Arena runs and 158 clans formed. The team didn’t say how many hours the figures covered or give a dollar value for the burned or withdrawn tokens.

Token flows

The burn figure tops the withdrawal figure by about 5.2 million tokens. In-game gold can be traded for tokens, and players can then move those tokens out to their own wallets.

The team’s pinned post on X said $RAID is live on Robinhood Chain and that the game would go live before 16:30 UTC.

RaidLords pitches itself to new players with the line “Start with $1 and let your village work for you.” Daily earnings grow as players upgrade a building called the Royal Mint. The game also pays prizes, including $10 to $100 for players with the most Raid Stars.

How the game works

The site’s tagline is “build your village, raid theirs, on Robinhood Chain.” Players build a village, raise an army, join a clan and attack other lords. On X, the project calls itself “The most advanced multiplayer strategy game on @RobinhoodCrypto.”

The developer is 0xOziK, who previously built Stonewatch.

Champions

On Oct. 25, two days before the stats post, the team announced that every player gets a personal knight called a Champion. Players name the knight, and it goes out on every raid.

Champions have gear slots, Valor ranks and three stances. The knight also defends the player’s village while they’re offline. A solo mode called Champion Trials sits alongside the Champion Arena, which logged more than 1,300 runs in the first hours.

Waitlist and early access

Before launch, RaidLords ran a waitlist with a $3,000 prize pool. Of that, $2,000 was set aside for the top 100 and $1,000 for 100 random raiders.

Players who signed up got “one day early access to RaidLords,” the waitlist page said. They earned points for connecting a wallet, linking an X account, claiming a card and referring others, with each of those actions worth 50 points.

The game is played in the browser at raidlords.com/play. Robinhood Chain is EVM-compatible, according to the waitlist page.
