Our verdict
AneeMate is a creature-collecting adventure for PC from QORPO, in Early Access and free on the Epic Games Store. You land on a living island, weaken wild AneeMates and throw a Yipee to catch them, then raise them and evolve them at levels 25 and 60. The current build has 86 species across nine elements, 29 of them dual-element, and day, night and rain change which creatures come out.
Its signature idea is the switch: press K and you leave your child character to play as any AneeMate in your party, with its own moves, element and way of getting around. Around that sit base building, with walls, a garden and an AneeHouse where your creatures farm and work, and a two-player co-op survival mode against night waves.
The crypto layer is optional. Packs can be earned by playing or bought, with published odds and no extra combat power for rarer forms, and paid packs, fusion and the planned player market use the $QORPO token on BNB Chain. The in-game currency is MATE; half of pack spending is burned and the other half funds a treasury that pays player rewards.
It suits creature-collector fans who want to try something new for free while it is in Early Access. Expect an unfinished build that will cost money at full release.
