This project is active, but we could not find a released build to play. The links below go to the team's own site and channels, which is where a launch would be announced.
Sunflower Land is a browser-based, pixel-art farming and crafting game built around on-chain ownership. Players start with a small island and work toward turning it into a productive farm by gathering resources, expanding their land, and levelling a character called a Bumpkin. Its NFT collections and original SFL token launched on Polygon, and the project has since expanded to additional networks, with the successor FLOWER token deployed on Base and a later expansion to Ronin. The game runs in a web browser rather than as a downloadable client, and a crypto wallet is no longer required up front: the official documentation points new players to the game's play page, where an account can be created with a Google sign-in.
The core loop is plant, harvest, gather, craft. Players sow and reap crops on plots, chop trees for wood, mine stone and ores, fish, raise animals, and cook recipes in buildings, beginning with the Fire Pit. Feeding cooked food to your Bumpkin grants experience; levels raise energy capacity, unlock further buildings, and open choices on a skill tree. Once your Bumpkin is high enough level and you have the materials, you expand the island, revealing new plots, trees, and deposits, with each expansion containing a different mix of resources. Later systems add Oil from the Desert Island to run Crop Machines and Greenhouses, Obsidian from the Lava Pit, and Pets whose output feeds shrines. Craftable NFT items apply boosts to crop, cooking, and resource yields.
The original in-game currency, SFL, was an uncapped ERC-20 on Polygon. In 2025 it was replaced by FLOWER: in-game balances converted automatically, an out-of-game 1:1 exchange window ran for roughly six months, and SFL ceased to function in-game after it closed. FLOWER has a fixed supply, and the documentation states the development team took no allocation. Rewards are burn-driven, with FLOWER spent in-game cycling back into a rewards pool instead of being freshly minted. Land parcels, Bumpkins, animals, crops, and dishes exist as tradeable NFTs, so earning comes from trading items or withdrawing tokens; on-chain withdrawal has historically required a paid pass.
Sunflower Land is a browser-based pixel-art farming game whose save file is partly on-chain: the island, the Bumpkin character you level, animals, tools and even cooked dishes exist as tradeable NFTs. It began on Polygon and has since extended to Base and Ronin. There is nothing to download, and a wallet is no longer the entry requirement it once was — the official play page accepts a Google sign-in.
The progression is the strongest part. The plant, harvest, chop, mine and cook loop is slow by design but legibly tied together: cooked food levels the Bumpkin, levels raise energy and unlock buildings and skill-tree branches, and expansions reveal plots and deposits in different mixes. Later tiers add systems rather than bigger numbers — Oil from the Desert Island powers Crop Machines and Greenhouses, Obsidian comes from the Lava Pit, and Pets feed shrines.
The weak point is economic churn. SFL, the original uncapped token, was retired in 2025 for the fixed-supply FLOWER, with rewards funded by in-game burns rather than fresh minting; balances converted automatically, but the out-of-game exchange window closed after roughly six months, and withdrawing on-chain has historically required a paid pass. Treat any earnings as a side effect of trading, not a wage. It suits patient idle-farm and collection players who enjoy stacking yield boosts and can tolerate a game that occasionally rewrites its own currency.
