In Brief:
- Moku is building Break!!, a multiplayer battle top game where players build tops from Ring, Core and Tip parts, each with its own abilities.
- Ronin said the game is “Coming end of 2026 or early 2027!” Moku co-founder and CEO Bruce walked through the concept in a video Ronin shared.
- Break!! is the furthest-out title in a five-game Moku slate that started with Nomgar Clash on Sept. 14.
Moku is building a multiplayer battle top game called Break!!, and it’s aiming for a release at the end of 2026 or early 2027, Ronin said.
The loop is simple. Players assemble a top from three part types, fight other players and climb a leaderboard.
So how does Break!! actually work?
Bruce from Moku walks through the vision behind their upcoming battle top game
“Break!! is a multiplayer battle top game where you mix and match Ring, Core, and Tip parts, each with its own abilities,” Ronin said in a post announcing the game. “Build your top. Battle players. Climb the leaderboard.”
How the game works
Every top is made from a Ring, a Core and a Tip. Each part carries its own abilities, so the build comes down to how players combine them.
Bruce, Moku’s co-founder and CEO, explained the idea behind the game in a video Ronin posted. Ronin introduced the clip with a question: “So how does Break!! actually work?”
Neither Moku nor Ronin has given a fixed launch date. They also haven’t said whether the parts will be tradable assets or how leaderboard rewards will be structured.
The last of five
Break!! comes last in a five-game slate Moku laid out on Sept. 4 in a thread recapping its latest Mokiside Chat.
First up was Nomgar Clash, which went live on Sept. 14. It’s a browser-based strategy game. Players bring an eight-card deck into a match and win by destroying the opponent’s Nexus.
Nomgar launched with 1.2 million bRON in total leaderboard prizes. Each week, 200,000 bRON goes to the top 100 players.
Grand Arena Season 2 is scheduled for October. After that comes Super Battle Moki in November, a casual autobattler in which players field a lineup of Tamakins and try to reach 10 wins before losing four lives.
Break!! follows those three. Moku also plans an action RPG for 2027.
Grand Arena and bRON
Grand Arena is still Moku’s flagship. It pairs Moki Manager, where players train AI-driven Mokis that fight automatically, with Card League, where players collect Moki and Scheme Cards and enter daily tournaments.
In April 2026, Grand Arena added bRON, a bonded version of RON that’s pegged 1:1 to RON but can’t be moved outside the ecosystem. Moku now uses bRON for prizes in its newer games as well.
On Ronin Market, the Grand Arena Cards collection shows 3.97 million RON in total volume. It has a supply of 957,913 cards and a floor of 0.20 RON.
Background
Hantao and Bruce founded Moku in 2021 under the name Quest, after Hantao was introduced to Axie Infinity (official site). It started as a guild and later moved into publishing and infrastructure, working with Pixels, Apeiron, CyberKongz, Kaidro and Ragmon Monster World.
In late 2024 the studio raised $5.35 million in a round led by Sky Mavis, a16z Games and a16z Games Speedrun. Arca, Framework Ventures and 32-Bit Ventures also took part.
The Moki Genesis collection of 8,888 NFTs anchors the ecosystem. Holders get Moki Gang status, bonus points on Moku HQ and early access to playtests.
Bruce’s X bio describes him as “ex-Bridgewater.” In a recent post he said, “Moku is at the forefront of AI in games across gameplay agents and development.”
