Four games on the Enjin Blockchain are running Halloween events this October. Lost Relics (official site) has The Hollowing, Etherscape (official site) has Nightfall, Spirit Clicker has the Rift Scarecrow hunt and ENJ Excavators has a 200-goblin NFT giveaway. Each one has limited-time rewards, some of them on-chain, that you can only get this season.
Lost Relics: The Hollowing
Last year Lost Relics ran the lighthearted Hallofun. This year’s event, The Hollowing, is darker. It runs all October across Lunaria and has no leaderboard, so you can play it at whatever pace suits you.
Sinister Squash turn up almost everywhere. You can ring town doorbells, clear floors of Descending Nightmare and Hellfire, push through Valdrath Highlands or Frostfall, or adventure as normal, for up to 50 squash a day. Smashing them gives Creepy Coins, with a rare chance at Collectible Statues or the new Wick of the Wicked Artifact. The Wick adds 20% damage but burns 15 HP every second. Hollowheads wandering the towns drop Creepy Coins too.
Darthrauka takes your coins in exchange for the Wick of the Wicked, the Sinister Squashfire Mantle or Darthrauka’s Harvest (one of each per account). Darthrauka also sells candies such as Twisted Licorice and Phantom Pop, which bend the rules for two minutes at a time. Coins, squash and candies disappear when October ends. The statues, the mantle and the Wick stay with you.
Etherscape: Nightfall
The Haunted are back in Etherscape, and this time they’re in the loot. Nightfall is live until November 15 at 00:00 UTC. Haunted Chests spawn on every map, most often on Cemetery maps that you open with a Haunted Key. A chest might give you a Trick or Treat Bag or a Haunted blessing. It might also spring an ambush and hit you with a 10-minute curse.
Trick or Treat Bags scale with quest level. They can hold Haunted Essence, Haunted Keys, gold, items and Enjinite that doesn’t count toward your daily limit. Two new enemies, the Grim Reaper and the Haunted Spider, are hunting players while they loot.
The headline reward is on-chain. Craft a Bone Effigy at the Etherforge with Haunted Essence, gold and other resources and it mints a random reward from a 1,700-item pool. The pool has Gothic weapon skins, Bone Armor and Bone Wing sets, Haunted Spider, Bat Swarm and Skeleton Blob pets, the Bat Flurry emote, and Enjin Caches worth up to 100 ENJ. You can craft up to five Bone Effigies in game, or buy them for 30 ENJ each on NFT.io.
Nightfall also starts the Earth Multiverse season, which carries on into the upcoming winter event. Achievements across both events earn up to 180 Earth Multiverse points, which unlock rewards.
Spirit Clicker: The Rift Scarecrow
Spirit Clicker is a free idle clicker made by Enjin community creator Strope. It plays in a browser or on Telegram, with no download or wallet needed. Its Halloween event runs all October: a scarecrow with a burning green heart has come through the Rift, every other zone has a Halloween makeover, and the bosses in those zones are in costume.
The hunt works in five steps:
- Pumpkins: roughly 1 in 100 defeated spirits drops a pumpkin. Tap it before it disappears.
- Slice: swipe through the pumpkins that fly up. Slicing a skull ends the round.
- Summon: eight pumpkins fill the meter and unlock the SUMMON button.
- Burn: the candles go out. Find the Rift Scarecrow’s green flame with your light and land 10 hits in 30 seconds.
- Reward: your first win each day earns 1 Rift Point, and every Scarecrow you defeat counts on the Event leaderboard.
Losing costs nothing. Your level stays where you left it.
Spirit Clicker’s Race is also running until December 18. It’s a fresh run from Level 1 on a separate leaderboard, and the top 15 players share 2,000 ENJ.
ENJ Excavators: Halloween Goblin giveaway
ENJ Excavators is Kepithor’s free-to-play mining game on the Enjin Blockchain. For Halloween, Kepithor is giving away 200 Halloween Goblin NFTs, with two ways to qualify:
- Miners: finish in the top 100 ENJ Excavators scores at the cutoff.
- Holders: be among the top 100 Enjin Meme Coin (EMC) holders at the snapshot, with at least 200 EMC in your wallet.
Both tracks lock at 12:00 UTC on Tuesday, October 27. Each track awards one goblin, so a player who qualifies on both gets two. Leaderboard changes after the cutoff don’t count. The full rules are at kepithor.com/halloween.
