In Brief:

  • Solana crossed 300,000 real-world asset holders, more than any other blockchain, in a week that also saw SBI Global Asset Management put a Japanese equity strategy on-chain and NFT brand Claynosaurz start streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
  • The JX token marks the first time a Japanese asset manager’s listed-equity strategy has been tokenized, and it settled on Solana rather than on SBI’s longtime partner Ripple.
  • Solana’s RWA market topped $3.62 billion in July, more than double where it started the year, though Ethereum still holds roughly five times that in tokenized value.

Solana crossed 300,000 real-world asset holders last week, moving ahead of Ethereum, BNB Chain, Robinhood, Plume (official site) and Polygon to lead every network by that count for the first time.

Data from rwa.xyz put the figure at 300,130 wallets, an all-time high. SolanaFloor flagged the milestone first. “@Solana is now the #1 blockchain by RWA holders, with over 300K real-world asset (RWA) holders, a new all-time high,” the analytics platform said.

Every week the ecosystem breaks new ground. This one was an odyssey, from SBI tokenizing Japanese equities to Claynosaurz streaming on Amazon Prime Video, with RWA holders crossing 300K.

The climb has been quick. Solana passed 200,000 holders in late April and counted 285,971 by June 18. That works out to roughly 100,000 new tokenized-asset holders in under three months.

A Japanese equity fund picks Solana

SBI Global Asset Management and DigiFT launched the JX token on July 14, the first time a Japanese asset manager’s listed-equity strategy has been brought on-chain.

The token, formally the SBI Japan High Dividend Equity Strategy Token, gives accredited and institutional investors exposure to a high-dividend Japanese equity strategy run by SBI Asset Management Co. It’s regulated under Singapore’s Securities and Futures Act. The strategy is growth-type, so there are no distributions at the fund or token level.

DigiFT is issuing JX on Solana because its tokenization platform is built there. SBI has worked with Ripple for years, and the fund doesn’t replace that relationship; it adds a chain. The platform settles in USDC, and DigiFT said a Japanese yen stablecoin integration is planned for a later stage.

Details on the underlying fund, benchmark and fees weren’t disclosed.

Distribution on Solana, value on Ethereum

Solana’s RWA market reached a record $3.62 billion in July, more than double the roughly $1.4 billion it held in January. Ethereum still hosts about $16.3 billion in tokenized assets, close to five times Solana’s total.

The split points to two adoption curves. Institutions park large tokenized funds on Ethereum. Smaller positions spread across Solana, where low fees and fast settlement suit high-count, low-value activity.

Tokenized equities have driven much of the growth. Solana recorded $3.47 billion in tokenized equity spot volume in June, more than 96% of all such trading across networks that month. The network now hosts more than 2,120 different RWAs. And on July 15, Circle added $250 million of fresh liquidity.

Claynosaurz reaches Prime Video

Claynosaurz began streaming on Amazon Prime Video on July 14, with the episodes also on Apple TV. The brand released its first three animated micro-episodes, each about two minutes long, following four dinosaur characters named Flea, Bex, Trix and Milo through a world called Claynotopia.

The market moved fast. The collection’s floor price climbed to about 25 SOL on Magic Eden, briefly the highest of any Solana NFT collection by that measure. Seven-day volume hit around 6,500 SOL and market cap approached $19 million.

The streaming debut followed an unusual equity plan. On July 2, Claynosaurz said it would set aside stock options representing 15% of the company’s equity for qualifying holders, about 15 billion shares tied to a Delaware corporation. Eligibility was set by a snapshot taken during a quiet period, rewarding long-term holders of the original NFTs and the Popkins expansion while excluding recent buyers. The options aren’t shares, and not every holder qualifies; their value depends on the company’s performance and any later liquidity event.

Claynosaurz launched in November 2022 with 10,222 characters in a 3D clay style, during one of the worst stretches of the last bear market. It announced a Gameloft mobile-game partnership in September 2024 and put a new collection on Sui in May 2025. A longer series is in development with Mediawan Kids & Family, planned for 39 episodes of seven minutes each.

The value of tokenized real-world assets on public blockchains rose from $5.9 billion to $21.9 billion in 2025, most of it still sitting in cash and U.S. Treasuries.
