In Brief:
- Sunflower Land (official site) opened Chapter 15: The Ascension Age on Aug. 3. It runs through Nov. 2 with a 60-tier reward track and 31 exclusive chapter NFTs.
- The update adds Swamp Islands, an ascension system for pushing past Volcano Island and skill progression through Ascension Shards.
- More than 40,000 players have already entered the chapter. When the three-month window shuts, the content is deleted for good.
Sunflower Land switched on Chapter 15: The Ascension Age on Aug. 3, a 60-tier reward track that asks players for 60,000 chapter points before it closes Nov. 2.
The chapter ships 31 exclusive NFTs and has drawn upwards of 40,000 players in its first stretch. Ronin Network promoted the Swamp Islands launch to its own audience.

What ascension actually does
The headline system takes players beyond Volcano Island. Skill progression now runs through Ascension Shards, and the chapter opens the Swamp biome as the next island tier.
Shards aren’t handed out. In the project’s public repo discussion, a developer said they behave like sunstone but are rarer, have to be mined, and vanish on use. Players already maxed on Volcano get their missed shards when they ascend the island to Swamp and upgrade the expansion.
New wildlife includes the Dumbo Octopus. Cosmic items are available in the mega store, where Stella takes chapter tickets in exchange for limited-time rewards split across Basic, Rare, Epic and Mega tiers.
The points math
Chapter points come out of the game’s everyday loops rather than a separate mode: NPC deliveries, weekly tasks and weekly bounties.
Deliveries pay the best rate at five points per ticket in an NPC’s reward. Bounties return three points per ticket, and animal bounties match that three when animals are sold. Weekly chores are the weakest at one point per ticket. Points double on Double Delivery Day, and items that lift ticket counts lift chore payouts with them.
“So for the next 3 months, we’re grinding 60,000 Chapter Points across 60 rewards,” said Clivv, a content creator who covers the game.
There’s a rough edge. The game gives no notification when a player crosses a rank threshold, so progress toward the next tier has to be checked manually in the chapter dashboard, opened through the green journal icon beside the bumpkin portrait.
Feathers and the leaderboard
Deliveries and challenges pay out in Shiny Feathers. That currency feeds two things at once: the Shiny Feather Leaderboard, which ranks top performers, and the tiered rewards track stocked with currency, chests and premium content.
Recurring events sit on top. The Auction House opens roughly eight weeks into a chapter and sells limited items. A raffle puts a Bud NFT on the line, and scavenger hunts send players after mutant characters.
Chapter points become tradable once the chapter closes, which gives them value past the event window. The chapter content itself does not survive. It’s deleted permanently on Nov. 2, as with past chapters.
Chains and tokens
Ronin was added as an additional chain option rather than a migration, with an airdrop of 50,000 Ronin NFTs at the time. FLOWER, the game’s fixed-supply ERC-20, trades on Katana. Ronin players account for about 20% of active users.
FLOWER debuted on Base in April 2025, replacing SFL 1:1 as the primary in-game currency with no progress loss for players. The team said it took no allocation, leaving the supply entirely community-held, in contrast to SFL’s unlimited supply.
Sunflower Land also sits in the Immutable Play catalog, where quests pay gems, keys and entries into a weekly IMX draw. Unclaimed draw rewards expire 30 days after the draw.
Yakkamon
Thought Farm is extending FLOWER across its portfolio. Yakkamon, a creature collector and idle farming game, enters early access on Ronin in Q4 2026 and will use FLOWER instead of minting its own token. Pre-launch deposits are accepted in FLOWER on either Ronin or Base.
A Season 0 pre-registration campaign decides access to the first testing waves. It’s free and initially requires only an email address.
Not everyone is sold on the ascension track. In the repo discussion, players flagged that expansions 26 through 30 require 150 Obsidian in total, and that weekly market limits put that at seven months minimum, meaning some farmers could sit on the old island waiting for market resets instead of touching Swamp or Spooky at all.
