Game of Thrones: Dragonfire has officially revealed Vermithor, The Bronze Fury, as a new Legendary Champion. The official description calls him a “Legendary Champion who protects struggling allies while steadily punishing enemy aggression through a mix of Physical and Tactical damage.”
Translation: he’s a wall. And walls win fights.
What he actually does on the board
Per the reveal, the Vermithor Legendary “excels at absorbing pressure for his team, and reducing the offensive output of enemy Warrior and Hunter threats. As battle continues, Vermithor becomes harder to break through, using layered damage reduction to anchor the fight from the front.”
That last part is the interesting bit. He doesn’t peak on turn one. He compounds.
