What is Sleepagotchi?
Sleepagotchi is a mobile sleep-to-earn game. It hands out in-game rewards for keeping to a bedtime you set, and it plays like an idle RPG with collectible heroes built around a sleep tracker. It fits the card, casual, collectible and idle genres, and its chains are Other, Ronin, Solana and TON. Its token is CHI on Solana, formerly Sleepagotchi SHEEP/SLEEP.
Sleepagotchi is the first live product of Gotchi Labs, a company that is building specialized AI agents across health, fitness, commerce, productivity and everyday life. The app is on Google Play and the App Store. A separate Telegram mini-app, Sleepagotchi LITE, has a lighter tap-and-upgrade loop.
Sleepagotchi has you set a target bedtime and wake-up time, and the app scores how closely your real sleep matched them. It reads that sleep from Apple Health, Android’s Health Connect or wearables such as Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura and WHOOP. A morning check-in turns the night into rewards, which you spend on a gacha for heroes, on room decorations and on a squad that fights automatically.
Sleepagotchi’s rewards stay inside the game: CHI cannot be earned through gameplay, sleep tracking or physical activity, and staking CHI gives access and voting rights with no yield.
Sleepagotchi is live. It lists 612K registered users and more than 80K daily active users, and it ranks as the #1 app on Solana Seeker. Its AI Sleep Coach is live, and the studio says AI wellness and shopping agents come next.
Gameplay experience
The night produces the resources, and your active choices come down to which heroes you pull, how you upgrade them and which ones you send into fights that play out on their own.
How a match plays
A session starts in the morning. A check-in turns the previous night into rewards, and you spend them on a gacha that adds and upgrades heroes, on decorating rooms and on building a squad. A gacha pull shows a single hero card on a dark screen, and you collect it with a purple claim button.
Your home base is the room of your virtual friend, Dino, and rewards also open new worlds to explore. One room is Japanese-style, with sliding paper screens and a futon. A small green sprout-headed creature stands there beside a glowing golden cube chest with a moon emblem and a green button under it.
Fights begin on a setup screen. Your heroes face enemies on a hexagonal-tile courtyard, with two hero card slots and a purple battle button, and a tutorial bubble tells you the heroes fight automatically. You never steer the fight directly. What you control is who goes in and how far each hero has been upgraded.
Modes
The story-style progression mode holds the levels and the fights.
The wellness side runs inside the same app. Its AI Sleep Coach reads your sleep data and gives you a summary. A one-tap mood check-in also pops up about three times a day: you pick an icon or emoji, and the coach uses it to make its advice more personal.
Progression and difficulty
Your nights set the pace. Consistent, sufficient sleep pays larger rewards and erratic nights pay fewer, so a bad week slows your hero growth more than a lost fight does.

Getting started
The app is on Google Play, published by Sleepagotchi, Inc., with 100K+ downloads, a PEGI 3 rating and in-app purchases. It is also on the App Store. Agent Finder lists the price as free during the current MVP phase.
You need a wallet only for the airdrop side: users must connect a SOL wallet through Sleepagotchi Hub, as we reported. Signing in there brings up a wallet pop-up that asks you to sign a message, with Cancel and Confirm buttons. The first steps, in order:
- Link Apple Health, Health Connect or a wearable so your nights log on their own.
- On the hub, sign up through one of several wallet options, a password screen or the Connect email address dialog.
- Work through the chained quests (Connect E-mail, Download the App, Claim Free Gatcha, Mood Check and Discord roles), many of which stay padlocked until you finish the earlier ones.
- Connect X, Telegram and Discord, and a green banner confirms each link.
When you finish a quest, a success pop-up appears, followed by a leaderboard of shortened wallet names and point totals.
Graphics, art and sound
Art style and world
The game uses portrait-mode mobile screens, and the store listings show colourful vertical screenshots.
The loyalty program site’s header banner is a dim purple-and-green illustrated creature silhouette.
Inside the game you decorate rooms with the rewards from each night’s sleep, so your space changes as you progress. Story progression includes a level called Robbery Road, where the villains are Darklings who take over a highway, as we reported.
Characters and animation
The app icon is a smiling green cartoon creature with a leaf-like tuft on its head. The same green creature, with a large round eye, appears in the game’s promotional material.
The hero roster is drawn as plush animal characters, and one of them carries a glowing staff. Heroes are unlocked and upgraded through a gacha system.
Interface and menus
You move around the game with a five-icon navigation bar, a common layout for mobile games. A tutorial character walks new players through the systems in speech bubbles on pale blue or white panels.
Story scenes play out in large white dialogue boxes with a round portrait of the speaker and a purple name tag. A skip option lets you jump past the text. A path progress bar with dotted markers fills up as the story moves forward, so you can see how far through a chapter you are.
Loading screens put the Sleepagotchi logo above the plush cast and show a sleep fact in white and purple text, so even the waits stick to the sleep theme.
Economy and earning reality
Sleepagotchi pays you nothing you can cash out: CHI cannot be earned through gameplay, sleep tracking or physical activity, and staking it does not generate yield or financial returns. Any CHI you use in the app has to come from outside it, and the app’s own rewards stay inside the app.
What the sleep loop pays
Sleepagotchi started out on a points model. Players earned V-sleep points by playing, and those points were meant to convert into the Sleep token once it launched. Before the token launch, players could also collect sleep points toward the airdrop through hub.sleepagotchi.com, and the game includes NFTs.
The September 2026 token rules don’t match the earlier promise that play points would convert into the token, because sleep and play no longer pay out CHI at all.
Where CHI goes
Every listed use of CHI is about access. Holding CHI unlocks eligible token-gated products, features and experiences, and it pays for eligible Gotchi-operated AI services and premium features where they’re offered. Staked holders can vote on defined ecosystem and community proposals, and the token gets you into eligible partner campaigns, community initiatives and product feedback programs.
Each of those CHI uses spends the token, and none of them pays CHI back to the player. Sleeping well in Sleepagotchi earns in-app progress, and the token that once looked like the payout for that progress is now something you pay with.

Sleepagotchi is run by named people with seed money from known crypto funds, and it now sits inside a wider AI wellness company called Gotchi Labs. Sleepagotchi is Gotchi’s first live and scaled vertical, combining AI, sleep optimization, recovery, activity tracking and wearable data.
Who runs it
Anton Kraminkin is a co-founder. In the Newswire.com seed announcement, he said users had reported better sleep discipline thanks to the game mechanics, and that this convinced the team to build the product out further. The same announcement named Serge Kassardjian of 6th Man Ventures as a new board Director and Derek Schloss of Collab+Currency as an Observer.
GamesBeat reported that Kenny Wood was appointed CEO to lead the company’s move from sleep into an AI-based health and wellness platform. Shalini Wood and Aditya Julka, founding partners of Signal Labs and investors in Sleepagotchi, joined as growth partners.
Funding rounds
In 2023, the company raised a $3.5 million seed round on January 17 from Santiago Roel Santos, Alliance DAO, 1kx, Sfermion, 6th Man Ventures, Collab+Currency, Emoote, Shima Capital, Cem Kansu, Justin Melillo and LCA Game Guild.
Alliance DAO put in another $250,000 on October 18, 2023. CoinList followed on April 2, 2024, for an amount it did not disclose.
What the white paper promises
CHI is the participation layer for the Gotchi ecosystem, built to connect users, AI experiences and ecosystem activity. It gives holders access to eligible token-gated products, community initiatives, Gotchi’s specialized AI agents, partner campaigns and governance.

Sleepagotchi has a large audience, but few of those people are active and the official channels have moved away from the sleep game.
How active the channels are
When the Discord server was read, 2,779 members were online. That’s 2.4% of the total, so most of the membership is idle at any given moment. On Telegram, only 1 of the latest 20 posts went up in the 30 days before October 24, 2026, and the newest is dated October 23, 2026.
Even the busier Telegram posts reached a fraction of the subscriber base. A January 23, 2026 post drew 9,440 views, a January 27, 2026 post drew 8,490, and a June 11, 2026 post drew 8,340.
What the team posts and how outsiders rate it
The developers mostly talk to players through questions and reminders. A few days later it asked players which Dino color they were using and what they wanted rendered next for the upcoming Dino: Self-Care Buddy app. The June 11, 2026 Telegram post told anyone who had tested Sleepagotchi, held a Dino Gotchi NFT or played the Telegram games to connect a SOL wallet so their contributions would be recognized.
The X feed now speaks for the parent company, Gotchi Labs. A September 21, 2026 post introduced Gotchi Labs as “Consumer AI for Everyday Life”. An October 22, 2026 post discussed Meta’s Muse agent. An October 23, 2026 post tagged @SuiNetwork and called “Intelligence → Action → Commerce” the next phase of consumer AI.
Outside reviews of Sleepagotchi are lukewarm. Agent Finder rated Sleepagotchi 5 out of 10 and called it an interesting concept stuck in MVP limbo. It named crypto-curious users who already own a Whoop, Oura or Apple Watch as the best fit.
Roadmap and current status
Sleepagotchi is live and gets more frequent updates than it did a year ago, but most of the recent news is about a consumer AI company, and less of it is about the game. As of October 24, 2026, it had 13 dated updates and news items in the last 12 months against 4 in the 12 months before. Sleepagotchi runs on Other, Ronin, Solana and TON, and sits at #47 on our ranked list of crypto games.
From sleep game to Gotchi Labs
On May 8, 2026, egamers.io reported a new Sleepagotchi Loyalty Program. On June 2, 2026, egamers.io reported that Kenny Wood took over as CEO as the app moved away from sleep-to-earn.
In September 2026, egamers.io reported that Sleepagotchi had been restructured under Gotchi Labs, that its token had been renamed CHI, and that both had joined Welcome3’s invite-only network. Sleepagotchi is Gotchi’s first live vertical, with AI Wellness and AI Shopping Agents coming next. As of September 2026, no date, price, valuation or allocation had been announced, so the token launch the May Loyalty Program pointed to had still not happened.
What players still get
New Sleepagotchi game content still ships. The Robbery Road level went live on August 27, 2026, and sends players against the Darklings, an enemy faction. Across the main app and LITE, Sleepagotchi reported 2.2 million all-time registered users and 78,688 daily actives after the AI coach launched, so only a small share of the people who signed up come back each day.
Risks
The biggest risk is the token. It sits at the center of Sleepagotchi’s new plan, it has no published airdrop rules, and it has already changed name once. Our report on the wellness pivot covered a planned SLEEP token built around wellness data. CryptoWorldHeadline reported that the native token is CHI, built on Solana with a 1 billion max supply. It added that the token generation event was targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026 and that the airdrop’s eligibility rules had not been revealed.
Sleeping well may not count for much in the CHI airdrop. CryptoWorldHeadline cites the Gotchi Labs whitepaper as saying CHI eligibility won’t be based mostly on gameplay or sleep monitoring, so a long streak of on-time nights doesn’t secure you a share.
Sleepagotchi is still early, and its direction keeps moving. Gotchi Labs describes Sleepagotchi as the first live vertical in a planned multi-app platform that will expand into shopping, fitness and productivity tools. GamesBeat reported the pivot along with Kenny Wood’s appointment as CEO. The sleep game you sign up for is now one part of a wider company plan led by new management.

It suits people who want a nudge toward a steady bedtime and like collecting heroes without having to play actively. The game side still gets new content. Robbery Road went live on August 26, 2026, and egamers.io reported that it sends players against the Darklings to reclaim stolen supplies, beat the robbers and bring back peace.
Telegram players get competitive events on LITE as well. From November 10 to 17, 2025, the Gold Rush event put 750,000 PIXEL up for grabs, and egamers.io reported that the top 1,000 Gold collectors would share it.
Skip it if earning is the point. The app’s own rewards stay inside the app. CryptoWorldHeadline reported that the CHI token generation event was targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026. Gotchi Labs opened registration for a CHI community sale on Echo’s Sonar on October 11, 2026, and egamers.io reported that no date, price, valuation or allocation size had been announced.
Skip it too if you want proof that the AI Sleep Coach works. Stablecoin News reported that Sleepagotchi did not release clinical evidence supporting the coach’s effectiveness.
What would move the score
Published airdrop rules and a fixed sale date would raise the trust side of the score, and more levels like Robbery Road would help the game itself. The score would fall if the game keeps losing ground to its parent company. Gotchi Labs plans to expand into fitness, shopping and productivity agents, and its September 2026 white paper covers that platform, with the sleep game as one part of it.
