Craft World opens ‘Dynoween’ with 88-hour Skeleton Dyno Masterpiece

Angry Dynomites Lab has opened Dynoween, an 88-hour Halloween Special Masterpiece in Craft World that has players working together to build a giant Skeleton Dyno.

“DYNOWEEN IS LIVE!” the studio posted on X. “Help build the giant Skeleton Dyno in our 88-hour Halloween Special MP!”

Rewards

Players can earn up to $120 in individual resource rewards during the event, the studio said.

Record Rank rewards are tied to a community target. The pool reaches 3.5M COIN in total only if every Masterpiece in the event hits 250%. The post didn’t say how the payout scales if some Masterpieces fall short of that mark.

The event also brings themed Workers, Avatars and Decorations. The studio didn’t list individual items or say whether they’re limited.

Second 88-hour event this month

Dynoween follows the Dyno Birthday Bash, which also ran for 88 hours. That event raised individual resource rewards from $119 to as much as $138 and came with exclusive Birthday Avatars, limited clown-themed Workers and party decor. It ended at 6 a.m. UTC on Oct. 9.

The Halloween cap of $120 is lower than the Birthday Bash peak of $138. It’s still above the $119 level that the Birthday Bash raised rewards from.

The team has also run Oktoberfest community contests on X this month. One asked fans to design a Wiesn outfit for a Dyno or Worker, with a 5,000 RAWR Crystals prize pool and the hashtag #DynoWiesnFit. Another asked players to come up with a fairground ride, food stand, festival game, shop or a completely new attraction.

How Craft World works

Voya Games develops Craft World, which is also known as Angry Dynomites Lab. The studio bills it as a massive co-op multiplayer game where players unite to build artifacts that help the Dynomites survive.

Shared builds called Masterpieces are at the center of that loop. The studio’s X profile sums up the pitch: “Play Craft World: Get a Dyno, claim $air☁️ $fire🔥 $water💧 or $earth🌱, build a masterpiece with the community & save the dynos.”

The project has four NFT collections. The Genesis Fire Dyno collection came first, followed by Water, Earth and Air Dynos. The Water Dynos collection has 342 owners and a floor price of 0.1390 ETH ($341.24), according to Forbes.

The Dynoween announcement didn’t give a start time, an end time or the number of Masterpieces in the event. In the post, the studio called the Halloween build its “88-hour Halloween Special MP.”
