How it works
The studio has not published a mining formula. These rules were worked out from the game's own records on the WAX chain: every mine is logged with the bag, the land, the pools it drew from and the TLM paid.
- Wait between mines = land delay / 10 times (the tools' delays added up, minus half of the shortest tool delay for each extra tool).
- Ease of a tool = its ease times land ease / 10, added up per tool rarity.
- TLM per mine = for each rarity, ease times that rarity's planet pool / 1,000, added up. Your part is that minus the landowner cut.
- Landowner cut = the larger of the land commission and the planet minimum.
- Luck = the luck of tools that are not Abundant times land luck / 10. Difficulty = tool difficulty plus land difficulty.
Checked on a sample of recent mines, the match rate is printed under the pool table. Each mine takes TLM out of the pool, so a real day pays a little less than the first mine suggests. Tool prices are the cheapest current listings in WAX. Sources: AtomicAssets explorer (item stats), WAX game contract (pools), WAX action history (the check), Alcor exchange (TLM price). Read when the page loaded; ages are printed above.
FAQ
How is TLM per mine worked out?
For each tool rarity, ease times the planet pool of that rarity divided by 1,000, added up. The landowner takes a share, and you keep the rest. We checked this against the chain records of 2,000 mines and the page shows the match rate.
How is the delay between mines worked out?
The land delay divided by 10, times the tools delays added up minus half of the shortest tool delay for each extra tool. This fits all 60 bags we checked. It is worked out from chain records, not published by the studio.
Why is my real income different?
Every mine takes TLM out of the pool, so the next mine pays a little less. Pools are also refilled over time. The calculator uses the pool as it is now and assumes you mine every time the delay ends, day and night.
What is the landowner commission?
A share of what you mine that goes to the owner of the land. A planet can set a minimum. We use the larger of the land commission you enter and the planet minimum we saw on the chain.
Which price is used for TLM?
The TLM price on the Alcor exchange on WAX, or our own token page price if we hold one. You can also type your own price.
