- A two-week leaderboard will pay out 50 prizes across the Chimpers and ApeChurch ecosystems, including $APE, $CHMPSTR, three Gimboz NFTs and a Chimpers NFT as the grand prize.
- The game extends a Chimpers relationship with ApeCoin that dates back to ApeChain’s launch and has already produced several collectible campaigns.
Chimpers put a slot machine on ApeChurch. Dojo Drop went live this week as an officially licensed Chimpers title on ApeChain’s casino, with a leaderboard running for the next two weeks and 50 prizes drawn from both projects' ecosystems.

The prize table pulls from each side of the arrangement. Players competing for position on the leaderboard are playing for $APE, $CHMPSTR, three Gimboz NFTs and a Chimpers NFT at the top of the ladder.
“Time to degen in the Dojo,” Chimpers said in the announcement.
What ApeChurch brings
ApeChurch runs about 25 games, from roulette and blackjack to slots and original titles built around ApeChain NFTs. It’s non-custodial. Funds stay in user wallets or sit locked in smart contracts, and settlement happens on chain, which means each round of play fires three ApeChain transactions.
The house isn’t the platform. It’s a liquidity pool anyone can stake into, with a position that moves up or down on game outcomes and no promised return. ApeChurch bills itself as “The first 100% transparent, open source, provably fair on-chain gaming platform.”
The platform is listed in ApeChain’s official apps directory under games, alongside Otherside (official site), Clutch Market and Swords of Blood (official site).
The Gimboz angle
Putting Gimboz in the prize pool ties the two audiences together directly. Gimboz is ApeChurch’s own 4,444-piece collection, minted in March on contract 0x81c9ce55e8214fd0f5181fd3d38f52fd8c33ec38 and sold out in early April as part of a run of ApeChain community mints.
Roughly 1,770 of them are staked on ApeChurch and about 1,000 sit in a vault. Around 1 million ApeCoin was wagered during the mint’s GTD and FCFS phases. Staked Gimboz accrue GP, which holders spend on games of chance, loot boxes, scratch cards and the marketplace.
The floor has since traded near 1,999 APE, on total volume of about 6.2 million APE.
Not the first ApeChain campaign
Chimpers has been shipping on ApeChain steadily. The Taco Dojo collaboration with Bones by Jarritos put out 26 collectible cards with characters from Chimpers, Bones by Jarritos and the Bored Ape Yacht Club, plus physical trading cards, music, AR and avatars.
That campaign’s rewards ran deep. A Chimpers NFT, two Jarritos NFTs, 500,000 CHMPSTR, limited edition fridges, jerseys, T-shirts and 3D avatars went to leaderboard finishers, with fridges restricted to collectors holding a U.S. delivery address. More than 1 million CHMPSTR and 16,000 ApeCoin went to collector rewards in total.
An earlier drop, Rise of the Hybrids, paid first place a Chimpers NFT, $1,000 in CHMPSTR, an Otherdeed and a 1/1 custom Chimpi avatar.
Where CHMPSTR fits
$CHMPSTR is the strategy token behind The Dojo Reserve, created independently by TokenWorks, the team that built PunkStrategy. The model routes trading fees into a treasury that buys the underlying NFTs while burning supply on the token side.
Chimpers’ treasury holds close to 200 NFTs and 50 million CHMPSTR, funded by royalties, token fees and company money, and is used to stock reward seasons in the Dojo Club Collector Hub. Chimpers and ApeCoin completed an initial treasury swap between $APE and $CHMPSTR as part of the partnership.
Chimpers itself is 5,555 pixel-art characters on Ethereum, released May 18, 2022, by Chimpverse with art by TimpersHD.
ApeCoin has been public about the relationship, saying it has been building with Chimpers since ApeChain launched and is “honored to continue strengthening our partnership together in The Dojo.”
It was less formal about the collection now serving as prize inventory. Listing the ApeChain mints that had sold out, ApeCoin wrote: “@apechurch blessed us with Gimboz.”
