Season 2: Paragon Rising is live.
Our biggest update yet. It runs until 4 December, 16:00 UTC. Here is everything that changed.
FRESH START
Every hero starts again from level 1. Levels, XP, skill points and waves reset, and the record wave goes back to 0.
What stays: all your
What resets and what stays
The official Season 2 docs list what was wiped. Levels and XP go back to 1, and the skill tree and skill points are earned again level by level. Every hero’s current wave drops to 1 and the record wave to 0. Deaths, exhaustion and the retreat wall also reset.
Inventory carries over. That covers all items with their upgrade levels, pets, potions, scrolls, boxes, fragments, keys, shards, gold and scrap. The rune tree stays, and every owned rune keeps working at any level. $SIEGE and vSIEGE balances, the Codex, titles, frames, hero mints, Genesis cards and access tiers are untouched.
The wave gates reopen because record waves reset. Trade board posts open at wave 50, withdrawals at wave 150 and selling on the scrap and gold markets at wave 1,000.
The studio told players to claim AFK earnings before the 16:00 UTC reset, since time away before it doesn’t carry over. Season 1 Battle Pass rewards that were earned but not claimed are claimed automatically. The higher daily withdrawal limit from Season 1 Premium ended when Season 2 started. Season 2 Premium gives it again.
Helmet slot and six-piece sets
The helmet is the sixth gear slot. It carries 0.8x damage and 0.5x HP, with no crit or speed. The docs say that makes it the biggest damage source after the weapon.
Wave drops, boss drops and Battle Pass boxes now roll one of five slots, each with a 1 in 5 chance. Pity boxes roll one of six. A Helmet Box costs $0.50 in the shop. The Starter Pack now holds five boxes and the Expert Pack 10 Royal Boxes, both with helmets included.
Sets now need six pieces, and each gets a 6-piece tier: plus 10% for Epic and plus 18% for Legendary. A full Mythic set stacks the Legendary bonus with a new plus 18% Mythic bonus, for plus 36% damage and HP. With five pieces it was plus 24%.
The Mythic cap stays at 500 per slot, or 3,000 across six slots. Each Mythic armor, helmet, amulet, boots or ring adds 2% to wave pool points, up to 10% with all five.
Level 400 and the third rune tier
The level cap goes from 250 to 400. Level 250 to 251 costs 71,000,000 XP, and each level after that costs 2.5% more than the one before. Getting from 250 to 400 takes about 112.5 billion XP in total.
Two new skill tree nodes, Might and Fortitude, open at level 250. Each adds 1% per point to total damage or max HP, capped at 75 points. The tree now has 405 point slots. A level 400 hero has 399 points.
A third rune tier adds four paths: Mending, Fury, Bastion and Plunder. The runes unlock at levels 260 through 380. Each rune costs between 300,000 and 4.8 million gold, or 9.3 million per path, plus $SIEGE worth $1 to $16 at the live price.
A Codex Helmet page adds up to 10% HP, which lifts the Codex HP cap from 20% to 30%. Class changes now cost $4 in $SIEGE, down from $10.
Season ranking pays 10 million $SIEGE
A new Season tab under Ranks tracks the highest wave each player reaches on any hero, online or AFK. Ties go to whoever reached the wave first. Banned accounts are removed.
First place pays 2,000,000 $SIEGE and the Season 2 Paragon Champion title. Second pays 1,400,000 and third 1,000,000, both with the Paragon Vanguard title. Ranks 21 to 25 get 100,000 each. Ranks 26 to 100 get only a Laurel frame. The docs say the 10 million $SIEGE comes from the treasury, not the reward pool, and is paid after the season ends and the board has been checked.
Founders Packs
Four numbered packs are on sale for seven days, until Nov. 11 at 16:00 UTC, or until they sell out. Each account can buy one of each tier.
Squire costs $6 in $SIEGE, with 500 made. Knight costs $24 in $SIEGE, with 250 made. Paragon costs $60 in $SIEGE, with 200 made. Sovereign costs $100 in ETH, and only 50 exist. The docs say $SIEGE payments are taken at the live token price, from the in-game balance first and then the wallet. The cost of the three $SIEGE packs in tokens depends on the price at the moment of purchase.
Packs give damage and HP bonuses for the whole season, from plus 1% for Squire to plus 15% for Sovereign. They also give XP boosts from plus 15% for 15 days up to plus 100% for 30 days, plus Royal Boxes and gold. Knight and above unlock withdrawals and the marketplace, but they need a minted hero.
A separate Boost Box event lets players turn 10 Boost Embers into a box with a timed boost. Embers drop from Warden kills, World Boss hits and Siege Pit runs, and neither Embers nor boxes can be traded.
The tier 40 title on the Season 2 Elite Battle Pass track is “Season 2 Legend.”
