The post credited ONEquest, the reward platform ONE runs at onechain.nexus/quest, and asked: “When did an airdrop last skip the claim step?”
What the announcement left out
ONE didn’t say how many wallets qualified. It didn’t say how much CPLY went out, what the per-wallet allocation was, or what activity made a wallet eligible.
Copliy, the project behind the CPLY ticker, has no coverage on the main token trackers. CoinGecko, CryptoRank and DappRadar carry no listing for it, and the ticker doesn’t appear in any indexed announcement from Nexus, the company that operates the chain.
That leaves the post itself as the only public record of the distribution so far.
How ONEquest pays out
ONEquest is built around tasks rather than snapshots. Users complete quests and collect rewards, with individual quest pages tied to specific games on the network.
The payout splits by geography. Korean users earn ONEstore reward points for finishing in-game missions. International players get ONE tokens for the same kind of activity.
A live quest page on the platform runs a “Throne of Chaos: Follow & Play” task, one of several game-specific entries.
The rebrand underneath
The distribution comes weeks into a rename. Nexus rebranded the CROSS gaming chain as OneChain and the $CROSS token as $ONE, keeping the network, the team and the token itself unchanged beneath the new name.
The X account followed, moving from @CROSS_gamechain to @ONE_gamechain.
Driving it was an acquisition. Nexus bought 20,247,990 shares of One Store on June 29, an 89.03% stake, from a group of owners including SK Square, Naver and Krafton for roughly 62.6 billion won.
One Store ships on more than 38 million devices. It joined the network as its third validator on July 15, deploying and maintaining its own node and staking into the proof-of-staked-authority set rather than simply listing games that run on the chain.
Frost Kingdom, a medieval strategy simulation that mixes resource management with merge mechanics, debuted on ONEstore as the first title Nexus self-published. Nexus has said nine more titles will follow in sequence.
Settlement standardized first
The chain reworked its market plumbing before any of this. From July 9 UTC, the Gametoken DEX standardized every pair so it’s quoted and settled in ONEUSD, described as the ecosystem dollar. Transaction fees buy back the network’s native token.
Mainnet 2.0, the upgrade the team called Breakpoint, went live June 1.
What came before
Automatic delivery isn’t how this chain has handled every distribution. A public sale celebration airdrop put 110,000 CROSS into circulation by sending 1.1 CROSS each to the first 100,000 wallet holders.
The sale that prompted it moved 92.6% of its allocation. Buyers took 185,222,890 CROSS at a fixed $0.10, or $18.5 million worth, against a total supply of 1 billion.
The other 14,777,110 tokens didn’t sell. They were slated to be burned.
