In Brief:
- Sunflower Land added an in-game roadmap that lets players preview upcoming chapters through 2028.
- The farming game ships a new chapter every three months and has released more than 1,871 updates since its February 2023 launch.
- Ronin promoted the addition as Sunflower Land (official site) deepens its presence on the network following the FLOWER token launch.
Sunflower Land has put its release calendar inside the game. The team added an in-game roadmap that shows players the chapters planned through 2028, giving them a direct look at what’s coming instead of tracking announcements off-platform.
Ronin flagged the change in a post. “Building never stops,” the network said, adding there’s “Plenty more to look forward to.”

How the chapters work
Sunflower Land runs on a chapter model. Every three months the team ships a new chapter that adds mechanics, currencies and content, a cadence meant to keep the world from going stale.
The pattern has held since launch. Chapter 1: Solar Flare arrived in February 2023 with auctions and the beach. Chapter 8 brought cows, sheep and crafting in November 2024. Chapter 9: Winds of Change added seasons, weather and volcano content in February 2025, and Chapter 10: The Great Bloom introduced the FLOWER currency and Love Island in May 2025.
Chapter 11 followed in August 2025 with a social system and co-op farming. The roadmap now extends that sequence forward, mapping chapters players can expect over the next two-plus years.
A steady build
The team leans on volume. Sunflower Land has shipped more than 1,871 releases since it went live, and it develops in the open with a base of more than 112 contributors.
The game started on Polygon and has since gone multi-chain. Sunflower Land integrated with Ronin on Feb. 24, airdropping 50,000 NFTs to Ronin players, and later launched FLOWER, an ERC-20 token that serves as the game’s primary currency, on the network.
FLOWER is designed to work across chains. The team has said it sees multi-chain reach as the route to a wider player base, with a single game spanning several blockchain communities.
What’s still ahead
The roadmap sits alongside a longer feature list the team has committed to. Planned additions include pets, swamps, insects, more blockchains, fishing updates and a faction revamp.
There’s also a second game in the works. In 2026 the team plans to launch Project II, a new title in a new genre for the FLOWER ecosystem. It’s described as a browser-based clicker built around trading and player ownership, and the studio says it will be developed with community input from the start, including on mechanics and token design.
Sunflower Land stays the flagship. The team has said the farming game remains its primary focus and the main source of FLOWER, with players earning the token there to spend across the wider ecosystem.
The studio has grown to support the parallel work, adding engineers in 2025 with more design, art and development hires planned. It has stayed independent, avoiding venture capital to keep control of the roadmap it just handed to players.
