LAND

A parcel of virtual land on the Sandbox map, owned as a token. One LAND is 96 x 96 x 128 blocks. The map is a grid of 408 x 408 LANDs, and owners can publish Experiences on theirs.

Estate

Several adjacent LANDs held as one parcel. Standard sizes are Small 3x3 (9 LANDs), Medium 6x6 (36), Large 12x12 (144) and X-Large 24x24 (576). An Estate can be split into smaller sizes or into 1x1 LANDs.

SAND

The Sandbox main utility token and currency. Max supply is 3 billion. It pays for Marketplace items, can be staked for rewards where allowed, and gives a say in the DAO.

Marketplace

Where players get avatars, equipment and assets, priced in SAND on Polygon. Previously owned LAND is listed on OpenSea, in the verified The Sandbox collection.

The Sandbox Bridge

The tool for moving SAND to Polygon, which the staking programs require.

Premium LAND

A category of LAND. The docs say a separate staking pool rewards LAND owners and that Premium LANDs can earn Gems. We could not find official rules beyond that.

Game Maker Fund

A fund of SAND distributions run by the Sandbox Foundation. The docs say 2.5% of each Marketplace asset sale price helps fund it, alongside staking and rewards.

DAO

The Sandbox DAO, the governance body SAND holders take part in.

LAND token id

The number that identifies one LAND on the Ethereum contract. We checked that it equals grid y x 408 + grid x. This is our own working rule from the public metadata, not an official statement.

Floor price

The lowest asking price among listed items in a collection. It says nothing about items with a different size, place or neighbours.
