LAND floor and budget

Collection floor in ETH, USD and SAND, and what your budget buys.

No loginSaved in this browser

The floor price of the Sandbox LAND collection in ETH, dollars and SAND, how many owners it has and how the floor moved, plus a budget calculator that tells you how many LAND or which Estate size it buys. Collection numbers come from CoinGecko NFT data (cached 15 minutes) and the SAND price from CoinGecko. The budget part is plain arithmetic on the floor or on a price you type.

This is the floor of the whole LAND collection as a data provider reports it, not the price of a given size or place. The collection count is larger than the 408 x 408 grid, so the floor may include items that are not plain 1x1 LAND. A floor is the cheapest ask, and on a thin market (the data source counted very few sales in a day) it can say little about what a LAND sells for. Check the listings yourself before you buy.

Sizes from the Sandbox docs. Real Estates are priced by their sellers and often differ from tiles times the floor (location, neighbours, what is built). Use this as a ceiling check, not a quote.

How it works

The server reads the LAND collection record from CoinGecko NFT data and keeps it for 15 minutes. We show only the fields that look sane: floor in ETH and dollars, unique owners, item count, sales in 24 hours and the floor change. We leave out the volume, market cap and all-time high that this feed reports, because they do not match a thin market.

floor in SAND = floor in USD / SAND price in USD LANDs bought = whole number of (budget in USD / price per LAND in USD)

The price per LAND is the collection floor unless you type your own.

FAQ

Is the floor the price of a 1x1 LAND?

Not necessarily. It is the floor of the whole LAND collection as a data provider reports it. The collection count is larger than the 166,464-tile grid, so it may include items that are not plain 1x1 LAND.

Where is LAND listed for sale?

The Sandbox docs say first-time purchases go through Public LAND Sales on its website and previously owned LAND is listed on OpenSea, in the verified The Sandbox collection.

How does the budget calculator work?

It divides your budget by the price per LAND, either the collection floor or a price you type, and rounds down to whole LANDs. The Estate table multiplies the same price by the number of tiles.

Why is there no price by Estate size?

We could not verify a source we are allowed to show for floors by size, so we do not show one. Real Estate prices are set by sellers and differ from tiles times the floor.
