In Brief:
- Thought Farm said 53,920 trainers have pre-registered for Yakkamon, its creature-collector on Ronin.
- Only the top 100,000 on the Season 0 points leaderboard get early access, which opens in Q4 2026 in waves.
- A separate free mint of 10,000 monster NFTs runs Oct. 1 on Ronin, limited to verified pre-registered trainers, one per trainer.
Yakkamon has logged 53,920 pre-registrations, the game said, filling just over half the 100,000-trainer ceiling on early access.
“53,920 trainers have already signed up,” the game said in a post on X. “Only the top 100k will get early access.”

The cap isn’t a queue. Season 0 rank decides who gets in, and rank is earned on points. Signing up early doesn’t reserve a spot or move anyone up the board; sign-up order only determines which egg type a trainer receives.
How the waves work
Early access opens in Q4 2026 and rolls out in waves, with the highest-ranked trainers entering first. Five waves are planned. Anyone outside the top 100,000 when Season 0 closes doesn’t enter at all.
Registration is free and asks only for an email address. No wallet, no Sunflower Land (official site) account.
Points come from nurturing a Monster Egg daily, which means tapping it three times a day for six points, rising to 10 a day at a 30-day streak with a 36-hour grace period. Quests such as linking Discord and X add more. So do referrals, which are uncapped, and FLOWER deposits, which convert into points and can be spent in-game or withdrawn tax-free once a trainer has access.
Three rewards, easy to confuse
Every trainer who signs up gets a Monster Egg. It’s an in-game item, not an NFT.
The 5,000 highest-ranked players each receive a free Genesis Monster when early access opens, and the top 1,000 get a rarer Legendary version. That airdrop requires no wallet setup and no action beyond final leaderboard position.
The Oct. 1 free mint is a different thing entirely, and trainers can receive both. It runs on Ronin, capped at 10,000, with five Legendary monsters seeded into the supply. Each mint is sealed until early access, so buyers don’t learn which monster they got until then. Once the last one goes, the mint closes permanently.
The mint runs off a verified whitelist of pre-registered trainers, one per trainer, and costs nothing beyond a network fee. A wallet that isn’t on the list can’t mint no matter how much gas it pays. It’s the only part of pre-registration that touches a wallet, so trainers need a Ronin-compatible one set up in advance.
Ronin set aside 3,000 codes
Ronin carved out access codes for its own users when pre-registration opened. “We have 3,000 exclusive FCFS codes for the Ronin community,” Ronin said in its post.
For Sunflower Land players, access code availability is set by Bumpkin Level, with codes unlocking for the highest levels first and a new tier opening each day. Players under Level 20, and anyone who has never played Sunflower Land, can use a referral code from a trainer already inside. Sunflower Land level affects only when a code unlocks. It doesn’t touch leaderboard rank.
No new token
Yakkamon doesn’t launch a token. It uses FLOWER, the same token across Thought Farm’s games, which extends FLOWER past Sunflower Land into a studio-wide currency. The game runs on Ronin, though pre-launch FLOWER deposits are accepted on either Ronin or Base.
Thought Farm Pty Ltd runs Sunflower Land and Bumpkins.io, with Adam Hannigan as CEO and founder. Yakkamon carried the codename Project II during development. Players hunt and catch creatures, then set them to farming, gathering and production that continues offline, and can craft gear and fight other trainers in an arena.
Asked in its own FAQ whether Sunflower Land is being abandoned, the studio wrote that bolting a full creature collector onto it “would take years and slow both games down.” In the same six months spent building Yakkamon, the studio said, Sunflower Land committed to a two-year roadmap, open source contributors went up and release cadence kept climbing.
One warning sits above all of it in the documentation: the team says its old X account was compromised and is no longer under its control. The official account is @yakkamon_game, the only official site is yakkamon.com, and pre-registration will never ask for anything but an email address.
