Parallel
What is Parallel?
Parallel is a blockchain-based trading card game operating on Base and Ethereum blockchains. It brings traditional trading card gameplay into Web3, where players collect, build decks, and trade cards as actual blockchain assets. Unlike centralized TCGs, Parallel gives players direct ownership and full control over their digital cards through decentralized technology, enabling peer-to-peer trading and transparent asset management.
How to play Parallel
Gameplay centers on acquiring cards, constructing strategic decks, and competing against other players. The in-game marketplace allows players to buy and sell cards directly with one another, creating a player-driven economy. Beyond trading, Parallel incorporates quests and interactive gameplay that reward progression and engagement. All transactions are secured and verified on-chain, ensuring transparent and permanent ownership records.
Parallel across blockchains
Deploying on both Base and Ethereum provides players with strategic flexibility. Ethereum offers the security and established infrastructure of the largest blockchain, while Base delivers faster confirmation times and lower transaction costs. Players can choose their preferred network based on their priorities—security, speed, or economic efficiency—making the game accessible across different user preferences and regions.
Multi-blockchain support (Base and Ethereum)

Quest and adventure gameplay variety
Decentralized platform with blockchain transparency and security

Our verdict on Parallel
Parallel is a competitive constructed card game from Parallel Studios, wrapped in a sci-fi premise about five branches of post-exodus humanity — Augencore, Earthen, Kathari, Marcolian and the Shroud — returning to contest a recovered Earth. Mechanically it is orthodox: 40-card decks drawn from a single faction plus Universal cards, a maximum of three copies of any card and only one of a Legendary, and a Paragon leader that anchors the strategy. The cards themselves are ERC-1155 collectibles carrying original 3D art, minted on Ethereum and echoed across to Base.
The thing worth knowing before downloading it is that the game and the economy are separate layers. Rookie Mode hands over a free deck and you can keep playing indefinitely without a wallet, but PRIME rewards only reach players who climb into the upper ranked tiers and field decks composed almost entirely of owned collectibles — the gap between a 39-card and a 40-card collectible deck is deliberately steep. The free version is therefore a complete card game with the reward loop switched off, and closing that gap is a genuine purchase, not a grind.
It suits players who enjoy deckbuilding on its own merits and treat the token layer as optional. Anyone planning to earn their way up from nothing will find the ceiling arrives early.
