Dynasty Studios is set to launch the F8 Genesis NFT collection, connected to its blockchain-based survival shooter game, Providence. The launch is planned for October 22, featuring a total of 777 NFTs which will be minted on the Ethereum blockchain. The minting process includes an initial phase exclusive to pre-selected wallets, followed by a public release that may see high competition due to its no-cost nature.
Minting Phases Explained
The minting of the F8 Genesis collection begins with a restricted drop for eligible wallets at 9:00 PM GMT+8 on the designated day, transitioning into a first-come, first-served phase at midnight. A brief public minting window will then open from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM GMT+8 on October 23, with each participant able to claim only one NFT. The public phase is anticipated to be particularly intense, with the potential for quick claims by automated bots.
Transition from Avalanche to Ethereum
Initially slated for release on Avalanche, the F8 Genesis collection has since been moved to Ethereum following an internal review that favored the latter for its suitability. Although the NFTs are now set to be Ethereum-based, there are no current plans to migrate the Providence game from its existing network.
