Vibe Camp winners announced

Nexpace has unveiled the winners of its Vibe Camp, which ran from June 8 to 29. The initiative allowed creators to use MapleStory intellectual property while developing games on the Verse8 AI platform. This approach attracted a broad range of participants, including those without programming experience.

The event led to significant creative output, with 230 games achieving the camp‘s quality threshold. Participants were awarded a total of $59,580 in NXPC tokens. Each game underwent a rigorous selection process that included judging, anti-abuse checks, and a final evaluation combining internal assessments and community input.

Top honors recognized

Five standout projects emerged as Campfire winners, each receiving the equivalent of $3,000: Alphabet Defense, Helena Survivors, Night Lord Survivors, REVENANCE, and Say Cheese, Yeti! These entries spanned genres, from tower defense to photography challenges, and were evaluated on their ability to retain players and foster engagement.

Internal assessment contributed 50% to the evaluation score, while community voting made up the other half. Criteria included originality, fun, and overall quality. Other categories rewarded different types of success, awarding $2,000 to Slime CEO: Monsters Go to Work Today! and Trade Hero for their utility as references for future builders.

Celebrating community engagement

Additionally, 50 games received Top Traffic awards of $500 based on recorded play counts. The broader True Camper program recognized all 230 qualifying games, offering varied rewards paid in NXPC tokens. Recipients must complete identity verification to access the funds.

The initiative not only showcased fan creativity but also framed prototypes as viable commercial projects. Selected creators will receive support in areas such as game design, economy, and marketing, solidifying Vibe Camp’s role in talent development within the MapleStory universe.
