In Brief:

  • Moku scrapped its scheduled Moku Fireside and ran a Moki Direct instead, dropping attendees into a 3D Moki world with an interactive map of its production slate.
  • Five entries sat on the map: Nomgar Clash, Grand Arena Season 2, Super Battle Moki, Break and a secret project Moku didn’t name.
  • The reveal lands 11 days after Moku published hard dates for the same slate, and one day after the first title shipped.

Moku replaced the usual talking-heads community call with a Moki Direct, dropping attendees into a 3D Moki world and handing them an interactive map of everything the studio has in production.

Ronin posted the recap. “Players jumped into a 3D Moki world and explored an interactive map revealing what Moku has been building next,” the network said.

Nomgar Clash, Grand Arena Season 2, Super Battle Moki, Break and an unnamed secret project all appeared on the map. The full presentation sits at mokidirect.moku.gg.

Nomgar is already out

Nomgar launched September 14. It’s a mobile RTS built on a deck of units you deploy in lanes to bring down an opponent’s towers.

Those units come from burning NFTs. Tribesters, Ragnarok: Monster World, Apeiron (official site), Fishing Frenzy and The Machines Arena are all in the burn pool, which folds five separate Ronin collections into a single Moku game.

Grand Arena stops asking you to play

Season 2 arrives in October and changes what a card is. Cards become tokenized shares of Mokis, and the Mokis compete without their owners.

Moku detailed the mechanics September 9. AI Mokis play Moki Ball, a 3v3 soccer game, while players hold a portfolio of shares and take a cut of weekly reward pools tied to how those Mokis perform. Season 1 ran as a fantasy manager, with lineup contests and a $1 million prize pool.

The season is scheduled to run about four weeks with weekly payouts. Moku is lowering some fees and directing a portion of Grand Arena revenue toward buying Schiffy. It hasn’t said how much, and the amount depends on how Grand Arena performs.

The Schiffy game, and a dog with a shovel

Schiffy is Moku’s IP memecoin on Robinhood Chain, returning 90% of fees to holders in GLD. The character is getting his own casual mobile game, in which the dog digs relics out of his backyard and sells them at the museum. An alpha accompanies it.

Autobattler in November, tops after that

Super Battle Moki follows in November. Players field lineups of Tamakins and chase 10 wins before losing four lives, with tournament play and a “risk run” format that mixes in wagering.

Its closed beta ran from late March into early April 2025, gated to holders of the 8,888 Moki Genesis NFTs.

Break!! closes the slate, penciled in for late 2026 or early 2027. Players build a battle top from a ring, a core and a tip, each part carrying its own abilities, so parts can be mixed for synergies.

Background

Hantao and Bruce started the company in 2021 as Quest. It ran as a guild before moving into publishing and infrastructure, with work on Pixels, Apeiron, CyberKongz, Kaidro and Ragnarok: Monster World.

Moku raised $5.35 million in late 2024, led by Sky Mavis, a16z Games and a16z Games Speedrun, with Arca, Framework Ventures and 32-Bit Ventures also participating.

In April the studio shipped bRON, a bonded RON pegged 1:1 to RON that stays inside the ecosystem rather than moving freely.

Moku’s September 4 schedule listed an action RPG for 2027. The secret project on the map is still unnamed.
